Regional English Language Office is pleased to announce the American English Live Series 4 in the attachment. The 6 online seminars of the course cover a variety of topics and are intended for teachers of English or future teachers of English around the world.  Participants who attend 4 out of the 6 webinars will receive e-certificates. The 8 a.m. for Turkey is 16:00 and 1 p.m. is 21:00. You may also use this opportunity to show these series to your students in class. Please see the attachment for details.

Here are the upcoming MOOCs:

Winter and Spring MOOCs

·         The Content-based Instruction MOOC by World Learning will be offered between February 18 - March 18, 2019 on Canvas Network.

o    January 14, 2019: Enrollment on Canvas Network opens

o    February 11, 2019: The orientation module opens. The orientation module will help participants learn to navigate Canvas, and provide tips for succeeding in a MOOC environment.

o    February 18, 2019: The 5-week Content-based Instruction MOOC begins.

o    March 1, 2019: Enrollment closes

·         We will begin launching a stand-alone Teaching Grammar Communicatively MOOC on March 25, 2019. This will be completely automatedand will not have an instructor or facilitator.

·         The Teaching English to Young Learners MOOC by George Mason University will launch on April 15, 2019 on Canvas Network.
